About RIR Power Electronics Ltd RIR Power Electronics Ltd, initially established as Ruttonsha International Rectifier Limited in 1969, specializes in manufacturing power semiconductor devices and high-power equipment. Originally collaborating with International Rectifier Corporation (US), the company gained full technical know-how by 1995, enabling it to independently produce silicon controlled rectifiers. The company has undergone strategic expansions and restructuring, including a rights issue in 1993 and the amalgamation of Orient Semiconductors in 2008. In 2021-22, RIR acquired a 100% stake in Visicon Power Electronics, enhancing its market position. To better represent its operations, the company rebranded to RIR Power Electronics Ltd in November 2022. With a manufacturing base in Halol, Gujarat, RIR continues to focus on advancing its semiconductor and power equipment offerings.
