Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Limited (RIIL), part of the Reliance Group, specializes in developing and operating industrial infrastructure, primarily for Indian clients. Established on September 29, 1988, as Chembur Patalganga Pipelines Limited, the company has since expanded its operations across various regions in Maharashtra and Gujarat. RIIL commenced business in 1992 and underwent multiple name changes before adopting its current name in 1994.
The company has pursued various strategic ventures, including a partnership with Gujarat Gas Company Limited in 1999 for the LPG business in Gujarat. RIIL also received approval from the Railway Board in 2006 to operate container trains on specific routes. In 2021, RIIL was reclassified from a Promoter Group to a Public entity under SEBI regulations.
