About RCC Cements Ltd

RCC Cements, initially incorporated as Rishabh Cement Company Pvt Ltd in April 1991, transitioned to a public limited company in August 1995 and adopted its current name in October 1995. The company, promoted by Rakesh Jain and Shabhnam Jain, established a manufacturing plant in Gurgaon, Haryana, with an initial capacity of 50 tons per day (tpd) for producing ordinary Portland cement. Commercial production began in June 1994 with 33-grade cement, expanding to 43-grade cement in October 1995. In the fiscal year 1995-96, RCC Cements proposed expanding its capacity from 50 tpd to 200 tpd. This expansion aimed to include production of various cement types such as ordinary Portland, aluminous, slag, and supersulphate cements. To support this expansion, the company issued a public offering in April 1996. This strategic growth initiative reflects RCC Cements' commitment to scaling its operations and diversifying its product offerings in the cement industry.
