About Ramco Industries Ltd Ramco Industries Ltd, part of the Rs. 1200 crore Ramco Group, was incorporated in 1965 and engages in manufacturing and exporting fiber cement products and cotton yarn. The company produces Fiber Cement Sheets (FCS), Calcium Silicate Boards (CSB), and pressure pipes used in water supply projects. Additionally, it operates windmills, selling surplus electricity. Ramco expanded its operations by establishing a subsidiary in Sri Lanka in 1999 for manufacturing fiber cement sheets.
The company has continually invested in infrastructure, including a spinning unit exporting cotton yarn to Japan and plants in India producing fiber cement sheets and calcium silicate boards. Recent expansions include new product lines such as high-density fiber cement boards and low-density calcium silicate tiles. Throughout its history, Ramco has expanded its production capabilities across India and Sri Lanka, targeting both industrial and residential sectors globally.
