Rama Paper Mills Ltd, founded on December 4, 1985, is a pioneering Indian manufacturer specializing in newsprint, duplex board, and writing & printing paper, primarily through the recycling of waste paper. Promoted by Pramod Agarwal and Arun Goel, the company serves diverse sectors like pharmaceuticals, soaps, and apparel with products including standard and deluxe newsprint as well as coated/uncoated duplex board.
The company began its operations with a manufacturing unit in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, in 1988 and has since expanded its capacity and diversified its product offerings. Notable expansions include the establishment of Unit II for writing and printing paper in 1992-93 and Unit III for newsprint in 1995-96. By 2008, Rama Paper Mills had implemented a 6 MW bio-mass co-generation project and modernized its facilities. In 2009, it further broadened its portfolio by adding tissue and poster paper production with MG machines, enhancing its market presence and production capabilities.
