Ram Ratna Wires Limited, incorporated in July 1992, is a leading manufacturer specializing in winding wires, particularly enamelled copper wires. With manufacturing facilities in Silvassa and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the company has been at the forefront of producing super enamelled copper winding wires and submersible copper wires. It initially scaled its operations in 1994 with a public issue to enhance production capacity. Over the years, it has expanded its operational capabilities, adding advanced enamelling and wire drawing machinery, which supported increased production.
In 2016, it further extended its manufacturing capabilities by establishing a new facility in Silvassa. The company strategically acquired a 60% stake in Global Copper Private Limited in 2017-18 and formed a subsidiary, Epavo Electricals Private Limited, in 2020-21 through a joint venture. Continuing its growth trajectory, Ram Ratna Wires set up a new plant in Rajasthan in March 2023 and merged with Global Copper Private Limited in April 2023, enhancing its market position and production capacity.
