Rajdarshan Industries Limited, initially established as A R Enterprises Private Limited in 1980, transitioned to its current form in 1992. The company began by engaging in the drilling and limestone raising business, expanding to the trading of quartz grit and minerals. A significant expansion occurred in 1994 with a focus on mechanized mining of marble blocks from its own mines, particularly in Rajasthan, known for its extensive green marble reserves. Unlike many competitors using primitive mining methods, Rajdarshan employs mechanized techniques, achieving higher recovery rates of 65-70% compared to the typical 15-20%. This has enabled the extraction of larger marble blocks with greater market value, especially overseas. Strategic partnerships, such as the contract with Edilmarmi, Italy, and an MoU with Madhav Marbles & Granites for domestic distribution, secure and enhance the company's market reach and product demand.
