RaajMarg Infra Investment Trust, established in 2025, is a registered irrevocable trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Based in India, the Trust operates as a specialized infrastructure investment platform, focusing on owning and managing income-generating highway assets. Through toll revenue and reinvestments, it generates returns for its investors, functioning similarly to a mutual fund but specifically for infrastructure assets.
The Trust was founded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and is managed by Raajmarg Infra Investment Managers Private Limited (RIIMPL), a collaborative entity supported by prominent banks and financial institutions like SBI, HDFC, and ICICI. Its primary objective is to invest in and manage road infrastructure projects across India using a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) model.
RaajMarg Infra Investment Trust’s portfolio includes key highway projects implemented in 2025, such as the Vijayawada-Chilakaluripet section, Barachatti-Gorhar in Jharkhand, Nelamangala-Tumakuru in Karnataka, and the Chennai Bypass in Tamil Nadu. These diversified, toll-generating assets aim to attract both institutional and retail investors by delivering reliable income streams and long-term growth potential.
To further capitalize on growth opportunities, the Trust plans to raise Rs 5,700 crores through a fresh initial public offering (IPO). This funding will enable it to expand its assets, drive returns for investors, and strengthen its position in India’s rapidly growing infrastructure sector.
