R R Kabel has grown through strategic mergers, notably integrating Global Electrical Factory and RSquare Realty in 2014, and Ram Ratna Electricals in 2020. In 2021, they diversified into switch and switchgear manufacturing and expanded further by acquiring Luminous Power Technologies' home electrical business in 2022. The company plans an IPO to raise Rs 225 crores through a fresh issue and offer for sale, indicating a strategic move to bolster its capital and support future growth initiatives.
