A pioneer in the industry, Prima Plastics was the first in India to utilize the straight injection molding process for plastic dining tables, and it introduced metal-free briefcases and overnighters. In 2004, Prima Plastics expanded into Western Africa through a joint venture, Prima Dee-Lite Plastics Pvt. Ltd., which began operations in 2005. The company plans to sell its Unit I facility in Daman.
