Prima Innovation Limited was incorporated on June 20, 2024 as a public company under the Companies Act, 2013. The company operates in the material handling segment and has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
The company was initially a wholly owned subsidiary of Prima Plastics Limited and was formed to engage in the rotational moulding business. Under a Scheme of Arrangement, the rotational moulding business of Prima Plastics Limited was demerged into Prima Innovation Limited on a going-concern basis, with effect from July 1, 2024, and the scheme became effective on March 31, 2026.
As part of the demerger, the transferred business included manufacturing facilities in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh and Daman, Gujarat. Prima Innovation allotted 1,10,00,470 equity shares to shareholders of Prima Plastics Limited.
The share entitlement ratio was 1 equity share of Prima Innovation (face value Rs 5) for every 1 share held in Prima Plastics Limited. The equity shares of Prima Innovation were listed on BSE India on August 7, 2026.
