About Premier Polyfilm Ltd Premier Polyfilm Limited (PPL), established in 1992 by A N Goenka and A K Surekha, specializes in manufacturing vinyl flooring, sheeting, leather cloth, and other PVC products. In 1995, the company expanded its production capacity to 16,200 tons per annum (tpa) and became the first in India to manufacture special PVC films for canal and pond linings. PPL exports to countries including the CIS, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Burma, and Bangladesh, with plans to enter markets in America, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. The company also aims to export high-value PVC fabricated items such as shower curtains and table covers.
In the late 1990s, PPL underwent a rehabilitation process under IDBI's guidance. By 2010, additional PVC resin manufacturing capacity was added, and in 2015-16, production capacity increased to 20,700 M.T. PA. This expansion included the introduction of Soft Touch Cushion type artificial PVC leather cloth, PVC sheeting, films, and knitted fabric.
