In 1994-95, it diversified into manufacturing polyester fabrics and yarns, expanding its operations in Palsana, Surat.
Prashant India has also ventured into renewable energy, commissioning wind generators with a total capacity of 1,000 KW. The company gained recognition as the second-largest exporter of rapeseed deoiled cakes in India, earning an Export Award from the Solvent Extractors Association in 1994-95.
