Over the years, Patel Retail has diversified its operations beyond retail. In 2009, the company entered the export market and launched a garments outlet under the name *Patel R Choice*. To strengthen its supply chain, the company established its first processing and packaging unit in 2009 and later its first agro-processing plant in Gujarat in 2015. With support from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), Patel Retail set up an Agro Processing Cluster in 2022-23 at Dudhai, Gujarat, further solidifying its food processing capabilities. In 2023, the company expanded into processing peanuts and whole spices, such as coriander and cumin seeds, through its newly established Facility 2.
Patel Retail has also launched private label brands like *Patel Fresh*, *Indian Chaska*, *Blue Nation*, and *Patel Essentials*, enhancing its product differentiation. The company is poised for further growth with its proposed public issue of 1,00,20,000 equity shares, comprising 90,18,000 fresh issue shares and 10,02,000 shares offered for sale.
