Padmalaya Telefilms Ltd (PTL), based in Hyderabad and incorporated in 1991, is an entertainment and media software company focused on film distribution and production. Promoted by G S R Krishna Murthy and G Adisesha Giri Rao, the company leverages their extensive backgrounds in the Telugu and Hindi film industries. PTL entered the public market in 2000, offering 2.5 million equity shares. The company is also involved in telefilm and television software production, having produced notable serials like "Jai Veer Hanuman" and "Buddha."
PTL's network includes ventures such as Padmalaya Studios, a major film production studio in Hyderabad, and Padmalaya Vision, which handles audio/video marketing and advertising. PTL has an integrated studio and plans for upcoming projects like "British Rule in India" and mythological series "Dashavthara" and "Karna."
