Promoted by G S R Krishna Murthy and G Adisesha Giri Rao, the company leverages their extensive backgrounds in the Telugu and Hindi film industries. PTL entered the public market in 2000, offering 2.5 million equity shares. The company is also involved in telefilm and television software production, having produced notable serials like "Jai Veer Hanuman" and "Buddha."
PTL's network includes ventures such as Padmalaya Studios, a major film production studio in Hyderabad, and Padmalaya Vision, which handles audio/video marketing and advertising.
