Pacific Industries Ltd, established in July 1989, is a prominent player in the export, manufacturing, and trading of granite tiles, slabs, and quartz slabs. Initially set up as a 100% Export Oriented Unit in Udaipur in collaboration with SIGEP, Italy, the company has expanded its operations significantly. It has four mines in Rajasthan and quarries in Karnataka, providing substantial granite resources. Recognized as an Export House, it received the Best Export Award in 1993-94 for its excellence in the mines and minerals sector.
The company has been undertaking a major expansion near Bangalore, increasing its capacity by 240,000 sq mtr, effectively tripling its existing capacity. This includes acquiring 6.1 acres of land and setting up advanced machinery sourced from Italy. Additionally, Pacific Industries has developed a marble gangsaw unit in Udaipur, enhancing its production capabilities. With these strategic expansions, the company is well-positioned to strengthen its market presence and meet increasing demand.
