About Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited, originally established as Oriental Veneer Products Private Limited in 1991, focuses on the manufacturing and trading of products for the Indian railway sector, including Recron, Seat & Berth, and Compreg Boards. The company also deals in timber woods and related products. In 2021, it delivered 500 wagons to Indian Railways, marking significant progress in its operational capacity.
The company has a subsidiary, Oriental Foundry Private Limited, set up in 2014 for manufacturing casting foundry products. In 2019, Oriental Rail Infrastructure secured major contracts worth over Rs 2,452.87 million for supplying wagons and boogies to Indian Railways and other corporations such as Titagarh Wagons Limited and SAIL RITES. In 2022, the company expanded its facilities with new manufacturing plants in Gujarat and modernized its existing artificial leather plant, reflecting its ongoing growth and commitment to supporting the Indian railway infrastructure.
