Orient Cables (India) Limited is a public manufacturing company incorporated in 2005 and converted from a private limited company in December 2024. The company focuses on networking cables and passive networking equipment for industries including broadband, telecom, data centres, renewable energy, smart building automation and security, system integration, FMEG and automotive applications.
Its product portfolio is organised into three segments: Networking Cables and Solutions; Specialty Power, Optical Fibre Cable and Solutions; and Other Allied Products. Key products include LAN cables, CAT 6A LAN cables, patch cords, CCTV cables, optical fibre cables and keystone jacks. The company operates two manufacturing units, with Unit I commencing LAN cable production in 2006 and Unit II beginning optical fibre cable production in 2018.
Orient Cables is expanding into E-Beam Irradiated Specialty Cables, Solar Junction Boxes, Tethered Drone Systems, harnesses and power cords. It initiated construction of an electron beam irradiation cable facility in 2024 and launched a power strip product in 2025. These products are intended for applications across several high-growth sectors.
The company is planning a public issue aggregating ₹700 crore, comprising a fresh issue of ₹320 crore and an offer for sale of ₹380 crore. The equity shares will have a face value of ₹1 each.
