About Orient Bell Ltd Orient Bell Ltd, initially established as Orient Ceramics & Industries Ltd in 1977, specializes in manufacturing, trading, and selling ceramic and floor tiles. Originally promoted by K C Kejriwal in collaboration with AGRDB, Germany, it was later taken over by Somany-Pilkingtons in 1981. By 1993, Mahendra K Daga took charge, leading to significant expansions and innovations, such as India's largest wall tiles in 1998-99 and the introduction of the 'ORVIT' high-end tile line in 2008.
The company acquired Bell Ceramics in 2010 and merged in 2012, forming the current Orient Bell Limited. A pioneer in digital transformation, it launched India's first online tile market and introduced digitally printed tiles in 2013. The company expanded its manufacturing capabilities and distribution network significantly, notably increasing its channel partners and opening numerous Orient Bell Tile Boutiques (OBTBs). With a focus on innovation and modernization, Orient Bell Ltd has positioned itself as a key player in the luxury and high-end tile segment.
