About Organic Recycling Systems Ltd Organic Recycling Systems Ltd., established in 2008, focuses on developing environmental solutions for the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) sector. Originally incorporated as 'Organic Recycling Systems Private Limited,' it transitioned to a public limited company in September 2022. The company specializes in constructing, developing, and maintaining Waste-to-Energy (WTE) projects using anaerobic biomethanation technology. Notably, it operates one of India's first WTE plants and has expanded its operations through various Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
The company employs diverse business models, including the Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) model, Engineering Procurement and Commissioning (EPC), and key equipment supply. It operates a MSW processing and disposal plant in Solapur, Maharashtra, converting waste into electricity and compost. Over the years, Organic Recycling Systems has expanded its footprint with projects in Varanasi and Delhi, and in collaboration with Blue Planet Environmental Solutions in Palakkad and Kannur. The company aims to raise Rs. 50 crores through a public issue to fund further expansion.
