Orbit Exports Ltd, founded in 1983, is a prominent Indian manufacturer of novelty fabrics, specializing in woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn and woven pile fabrics of manmade fibers. The company operates in two main segments: textile manufacturing and windmill power generation, with facilities based in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Its journey began with the establishment of a fancy jacquard fabric unit in 1986, followed by a velour d emlyons unit in 1993.
To support its expansion, Orbit Exports tapped into capital markets and secured significant financing, such as a Rs. 9.60 crore loan from Exim Bank for its export-oriented projects. The company expanded its footprint internationally by acquiring stakes in Rainbow Line Trading LLC, UAE, and establishing subsidiaries in the USA and UK. It has also invested in renewable energy with a 1.50 MW windmill in Gujarat and has expanded its textile operations with new facilities in Surat and Thane, Maharashtra.
