Optimystix Entertainment India Limited was incorporated on October 31, 2000 as a private limited company and converted to a public limited company in May 2025 (name changed on May 7, 2025; fresh certificate issued May 16, 2025). The company operates in the media and entertainment sector, focusing on production of television serials and digital content, along with film distribution and events.
It develops and produces content across both fiction and non-fiction formats for broadcasters and OTT platforms. Optimystix has produced several well-known Indian TV properties over time, including Khullja Sim Sim (Star Plus, 2001), the debut season of Indian Idol (Sony Entertainment Television, 2004), Yeh Meri Life Hai (Sony TV, 2005), and Comedy Circus (2008). Later launches include Baalveer (SAB TV, 2012), episodes of Crime Patrol Satark (2013), Sabse Smart Kaun? (Star Plus, 2018), and Laughter Chefs - Unlimited Entertainment (Colors, 2024). In 2022, it launched Wakaoo Films as its film and OTT division.
In FY2025, the company gained access to Google’s Veo 3 generative video technology and is piloting AI-driven workflows across development, production, and post-production. It is planning an IPO of 62,00,000 equity shares (face value Rs 10 each), comprising a fresh issue of 50,00,000 shares and an offer for sale of 12,00,000 shares.
