About Om Power Transmission Ltd Om Power Transmission Limited, originally established as Om Power Transmission Private Limited in June 2011, transitioned to a public limited company in September 2025. Headquartered in Gujarat, it operates within the highly specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector, offering end-to-end solutions for infrastructure projects focused on power transmission and distribution networks. Its services include designing, construction, supply, and maintenance of Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations, underground cabling systems, and associated civil works.
Since beginning operations in 2011, the company has made significant strides, commissioning over 1,000 circuit kilometers (CKM) of transmission lines and 11 substations. Its portfolio spans diverse voltage levels, from 11 kV up to 400 kV for transmission lines, and from 66 kV to 220 kV for both Air Insulated (AIS) and Gas Insulated Substations (GIS). Om Power also integrates advanced SCADA monitoring systems into its infrastructure. The company is particularly prominent in underground cabling projects, addressing scenarios where overhead transmission is impractical due to spatial or safety limitations.
Notable milestones include completing its first 220 kV/66 kV Voltage Class substation in Sadla, Gujarat, in 2015, and executing a 400 kV Voltage Class transmission line project in 2021. Through its diverse offerings, including trenching, cable laying, jointing, and termination, Om Power ensures comprehensive operational reliability in HV and EHV transmission systems.
The company is preparing to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 1 crore equity shares valued at Rs 10 each. This includes a fresh issue of 90 lakh shares alongside the offer for sale of 10 lakh shares, opening opportunities for investors to become part of its growth narrative.
