NB Footwear Limited, established in 1987, operates in the leather and footwear industry. Initially, it faced financial challenges but overcame these to expand its production and secure significant export orders, particularly to Germany. The company became a part of the Nava Bharat conglomerate and collaborated with Berger Schuhe for technical and marketing ventures. Although it attempted to expand into markets like the USA through a joint venture with Amerind Footwear Inc., NB Footwear was declared a sick company in 2001-02. Despite completing settlements with creditors, the company has not conducted any business activities in recent years due to economic constraints. Management is currently exploring viable opportunities to revive operations.
