Initially pioneering in natural color manufacturing, the company now focuses primarily on the retail trading of agricultural produce and commodities. NBL emphasizes the production of natural food colors from Bixa orellana, offering a healthier alternative to synthetic colors, which are restricted or banned in several countries due to health risks.
In response to global regulatory trends and market demand, NBL expanded into the chemical and agricultural sectors, selecting Gujarat as a key trading hub. The company launched a project to produce Norbixin, a natural food color, with a capacity of 180 TPA, supported by a Rs. 1.80 crore Nucleus Farm. To finance its expansion, NBL issued 7.63 crore in equity shares, reflecting its commitment to sustainable and health-conscious product offerings.
