About National Highways Infra Trust

National Highways Infra Trust is a registered infrastructure investment trust under the InvIT Regulations, sponsored by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). Established in 1989 and operational since 1995, NHAI is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing India's national highways. The Trust manages five toll road stretches across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Karnataka, with a focus on Southern and Central-Western India. The Sponsor, NHAI, has a robust track record of operational performance, overseeing projects like the National Highways Development Project and the Bharatmala Pariyojana. NHAI has constructed significant kilometers of highways, facilitating private sector participation and contributing to India's infrastructure growth. National Highways Infra Trust plans to raise Rs 5109.79 Cr through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) via Offer for Sale, presenting an investment opportunity in India's expanding road infrastructure.
