Nagreeka Capital & Infrastructure Ltd, initially known as Nagreeka Software Technologies Ltd, began in 1953 under the leadership of Mr. I. L. Patwari. The company has evolved into a major manufacturer and exporter with a presence in over 40 countries. Its core operations include the production and export of plastic-coated aluminum and steel tapes, laminates, yarns, textiles, cotton, and aluminum and plastic containers.
Incorporated in 1994, Nagreeka initially focused on cotton yarn and quickly became a recognized name in yarn exports. The company expanded with a spinning plant in Kolhapur by 1995 and further upgrades by 2010, including a yarn dyeing unit. Today, it specializes in cotton yarns, specialty yarns, and fabrics, alongside aluminum foil and plastic containers under the 'Alufo' brand. Nagreeka also diversifies into financial services, real estate, hydrocarbons, and renewable energy, marking it as a well-rounded conglomerate.
