Incorporated in October 1990, R M Mohite Textiles Ltd. (RMMTL) is a public limited company focused on the manufacture of carded and combed cotton yarn, operating a 100% export-oriented unit. The company commenced commercial production in May 1993, following its establishment by promoters including Rsmchandra Maruti Mohite and others. In December 1996, RMMTL launched a public issue to partially fund an expansion project aimed at capitalizing on the high potential of cotton yarn exports. This expansion involved setting up 12,096 additional spindles at a cost of Rs. 36 crores, with commercial operations starting in October 1998. The quality of RMMTL's yarn has been well-received in international markets, enhancing its export prospects. Further investment under the Technology Upgradation Scheme, supported by a term loan from IDBI, reflects the company's commitment to maintaining high standards and competitiveness in the global textile industry.
