Modi, is a prominent manufacturer specializing in electrical contacts across low, medium, and high voltage segments. The company also produces silver flatware. With manufacturing facilities in Vapi and Silvassa, Modison has expanded its operations significantly since its inception. Originally a silver refining unit, the company tapped into the electrical contacts industry in the 1970s, fostering growth through a technical collaboration with Germany's DODUCO KG from 1983 to 1996.

In 2017-18, Modison expanded by acquiring Modison Contacts Private Limited and further diversified into silver compound business.
