About MMP Industries Ltd MMP Industries Limited, originally established in 1973, operates in the manufacturing, selling, distribution, and trading of various aluminium products, including aluminium powder, paste, conductors, and foils. The company also deals in MnO and MnO2 powders. Its aluminium products serve diverse sectors such as construction, mining, agriculture, defense, and power supply. Additionally, MMP Industries collaborates with Toyo Aluminium K.K. of Japan in a joint venture, Toyal MMP India Private Limited, focusing on specialty aluminium pastes, with a 26% stake.
The company has significantly expanded its production capabilities from an initial 300 MTPA in 1983 to current capacities of 7,860 MTPA for pyro and flake powders, 7,200 MTPA for atomised powders, and 1,500 MTPA for aluminium pastes. Its aluminium conductor capacity stands at 7,200 MTPA. MMP Industries launched commercial operations at its Umred Powder Plant in 2019 and recently added a 1,000 MTPA capacity for pyro and flake powders in the fiscal year 2021-22.
