Milkfood Ltd, established in 1973 and controlled by the Jaiswal family via L P Investments, is a Punjab-based dairy manufacturer. The company produces and sells a variety of dairy products, including milk powder, ghee, baby food, ice cream, and yogurt. Operating from two manufacturing sites located in Patiala, Punjab, and Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Milkfood has leveraged the rich milk resources of these regions to enhance production.
In 1991, Milkfood sought capital through convertible debentures to support its growth and operational needs. Brooke Bond Lipton India handles the marketing and distribution of Milkfood's ice creams, which are available at over 2000 vending outlets in Delhi and Punjab. The company expanded its product line in 2014-15 with the launch of 'Dairy Whitener.' Milkfood also briefly expanded into real estate with the formation of Ispace Developers Pvt. Ltd. in 2007, although this venture was later divested.
