About Metal Coatings (India) Ltd Metal Coatings (India) Limited (MCIL), established in December 1994, specializes in the production and marketing of various steel products, including Galvanised Cold Rolled Steel Strips, H.R. Pickled Oiled Coils/Strips, and Galvanised Wire. These products serve diverse industries such as auto components, power transmission, and defense equipment. Headquartered in Faridabad, Uttar Pradesh, MCIL's manufacturing capacity expanded from an initial 3,200 tpa to 7,400 tpa, with plans to further increase to 13,200 tpa through backward integration.
The company has diversified its product line to include Hardened & Tempered Steel Strips and Flat Wire Strips, and has developed HRPO Coils and Strips as of 2003-04. MCIL's strategic capacity expansions and diversification efforts aim to strengthen its position in sectors like telecom and electrical equipment. It raised capital through a public issue in March 1996 to support its growth initiatives.
