Previously known as MCC Finance Limited, the company shifted away from non-banking financial activities and adopted its current name on March 27, 2013.
In the fiscal year 2021-22, the company expanded its portfolio by converting three partnership firms—Cuningham Ventures Private Limited, Sahoj Ventures Private Limited, and Willingdon Ventures Private Limited—into wholly owned subsidiaries. Further consolidating its operations, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the amalgamation of these subsidiaries with Mercantile Ventures Limited in June 2023. This strategic move potentially enhances the company's asset base and operational efficiency, presenting a more cohesive business structure for future growth.
