About Mazda Ltd Mazda Ltd., established in 1990, specializes in manufacturing engineering goods such as vacuum pumps, safety and control valves, evaporators, and pollution control equipment, while also producing food products like food colors and fruit-based items. The company has formed a technical collaboration with Germany's KE Kauer Engineering for manufacturing turbine bypass and high-pressure control valves. In 2001-02, Mazda diversified into biotechnology, setting up a research laboratory, and expanded its engineering goods manufacturing capabilities with a planned capital expenditure supported by a pending term loan from SBI.
Mazda has a strategic alliance with Croll-Reynolds of the USA, where it handles design and manufacturing, with Croll-Reynolds focusing on global marketing of vacuum products. The company has commissioned several systems and expanded its product lines, including sauces and vinegar. In 2010, Mazda sold its Valve Division to Circor Flow Technologies for around Rs. 22 Crores. It also commissioned a large evaporator system for a CETP in 2016, showcasing its ongoing industrial contributions.
