Manorama Industries Limited, founded in 2005 and publicly listed in 2018, specializes in manufacturing, processing, and supplying exotic and specialty fats such as sal, mango, and kokum butters, which are crucial in Cocoa Butter Equivalents (CBE) used in cosmetics and confectionery. The company sources raw materials from forest-based tribals, integrating corporate social responsibility into its business model. Certified by ISO and recognized as a Star Export House by the Government of India, it ensures high-quality standards and caters to both domestic markets like Maharashtra and Gujarat, and international markets including Japan, Italy, and the UK.
The company has expanded its production capabilities significantly. In 2022, it established a solvent extraction plant with a 90,000 MTPA capacity and increased its refinery capacity from 15,000 to 40,000 MTPA. Its manufacturing facility in Birkoni became fully operational in 2020. In May 2023, Manorama Industries further enhanced its infrastructure with a new 30,000-tonne refinery and a 15,000-tonne inter-esterification plant, aiming to bolster its production efficiency and capacity.
