Manipal Health Enterprises Limited is a Bengaluru-based healthcare company engaged in running and managing hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and providing healthcare services across India. It was incorporated as a private limited company on February 15, 2010, and was converted into a public limited company as Manipal Health Enterprises Limited on December 24, 2025.
The company traces its operating history to 1991, when it commenced operations near Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bengaluru. It expanded within Bengaluru in 1993, entered Goa in 1994, began operations at KMC Hospital in Mangalore in 1997, and later added hospitals in Vijayawada (2006) and Salem, Tamil Nadu (2007), along with further expansion in Bengaluru through Malathi Manipal Hospital.
As of September 30, 2025, the company operated 38 hospitals with 10,761 licensed beds across 14 states. Following the acquisition of Sahyadri Hospitals Private Limited in October 2025, it added 1,606 licensed beds to its network. In November 2025, it commenced operations at its 49th hospital in Bengaluru, taking total capacity to 12,631 licensed beds as of December 31, 2025.
Manipal provides clinical services across multiple specialties with a focus on tertiary and quaternary care, particularly cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, gastro sciences, orthopedics, and renal sciences, addressing high-acuity and complex cases. The company has filed a Draft Prospectus with SEBI and plans an IPO aggregating Rs 8,000 crore through a fresh issue and an offer for sale of 43,227,668 equity shares (face value Rs 2 each).
