Manaksia Ltd., established in 1984, is a diversified company primarily engaged in trading metals and manufacturing packaging products, such as crowns, closures, and metal containers. With 15 manufacturing facilities in India and three abroad, Manaksia also produces fast-moving consumer goods, including mosquito repellents for brands like Mortein and Maxo. The company has expanded into producing aluminum rolled products, secondary aluminum alloys, and galvanized steel.
Manaksia's international presence includes subsidiaries in Nigeria, Ghana, and Dubai, with its Nigerian subsidiary, MINL Limited, leading the market in ROPP caps and crown corks. The company went public in 2007 and has since undertaken strategic expansions and investments, including forming joint ventures and establishing subsidiary companies. In 2014, Manaksia restructured by demerging its product divisions into four wholly-owned subsidiaries, enhancing its focus on aluminum, steel, packaging, and coated metals.
