Madhur Knit Services Limited (formerly Madhur Knit Crafts Private Limited) was incorporated on August 21, 1997, as a private limited company with the Registrar of Companies, Punjab, H.P & Chandigarh, and later changed its name to Madhur Knit Services Limited effective January 28, 2025. Founded by Mr. Arun Gupta, the company was established with the objective of becoming a textile manufacturer focused on product development and process efficiency.
The company began commercial operations in 2013, initially manufacturing blankets and building a presence in the winter textile segment. Since FY 2021, it has expanded into a diversified textile business offering a wider range of fabrics and garments. It has also entered technical textiles (including paint roller fabrics involving chemical coating and lamination), though this segment currently contributes minimal revenue, with consumer textile products remaining the primary driver.
Operations are based in Ludhiana, a major textile hub, providing access to suppliers, yarn and other raw materials, logistics providers, and national distribution channels. Over time, the company has moved from minimal processing to a more integrated yarn-to-cloth model aimed at end-to-end value addition—converting yarn into finished cloth and producing higher-quality textile products.
The company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with machinery imported from Korea, Taiwan, and China, enabling processes such as knitting, dyeing, printing, brushing, polishing, sueding, stentering, and related finishing activities. It has filed a Draft Prospectus with SEBI and plans a fresh issue of 56,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each.
