About M & B Engineering Ltd M&B Engineering Limited is a prominent Indian manufacturing and engineering company specializing in pre-engineered buildings (PEBs), complex structural steel components, and self-supported steel roofing solutions. Established in 1981 as a private company, it transitioned to a public limited entity in 2011 and structured its operations into two key divisions: Phenix and Proflex. The Phenix Division offers turn-key solutions including design, engineering, manufacturing, and erection of PEBs for sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, power, and infrastructure. The Proflex Division focuses on self-supported steel roofing, supported by a fleet of 14 mobile manufacturing units that facilitate efficient on-site production.
The company operates two manufacturing facilities—one in Sanand, Gujarat (established in 2008), and the other in Cheyyar, Tamil Nadu (operational since 2024)—with a total installed capacity of 103,800 MTPA. Over 15 years of operations under its Phenix Division, M&B Engineering has executed more than 1,500 projects across 20+ countries, supplying 570,000 metric tons of PEBs and structural steel. Through its Proflex Division, it has completed over 8,700 projects for 1,700+ clients across industries like food, logistics, textiles, and railways. Notable customers include leading firms such as Adani Green Energy, Tata Advanced Systems, Intas Pharmaceuticals, and Haldiram Foods.
M&B Engineering further expanded its global footprint with the incorporation of Phenix Construction Technologies Inc. in the U.S. (2017) and the acquisition of Phenix Building Solutions Private Limited in 2024. The company recently launched an IPO, raising Rs. 653 crore via equity shares, which includes Rs. 325 crore as a fresh issue and Rs. 328 crore through an offer for sale. Its extensive project portfolio, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and diversified clientele make it a key player in the industrial and infrastructure sectors.
