About Ludlow Jute & Specialities Ltd Ludlow Jute & Specialities Ltd, originally established as Ludlow Jute Mills in 1921 by the Ludlow Corp. of Massachusetts, was acquired by the Kanoria family in 1977. It specializes in manufacturing a variety of jute products, including jute yarn, geo-textiles, poly-jute bags, and more, catering to industries like agriculture, horticulture, and furniture. The company underwent significant modernization, enhancing its technological capabilities with investments in advanced equipment, and was the first to receive ISO 9002 certification for its jute products.
It restructured its operations by transferring the Sijberia Division to its wholly-owned subsidiary Ludlow Securities Ltd in 2003. Later, as per a Scheme of Arrangement, Ludlow Securities became Sijberia Industries Limited and ceased to be a subsidiary. Ludlow Jute continues to innovate and expand its product offerings, maintaining a strong presence in the jute industry by aligning with modern industrial demands and quality standards.
