About Lohia Corp Ltd
Lohia Corp Limited (formerly Kanpur Packaging Machines Limited, incorporated June 5, 2023) is an India-based manufacturer of machinery used in the HDPE/PP woven fabric industry, serving applications such as plastic woven sacks, FIBC, and tarpaulins. The company operates four manufacturing units—three located in Kanpur and one in Bangalore—supporting production of a complete range of machines required by this segment.
The business traces key product milestones including the launch of its first Circular Weaving Machine in 1983, establishment of a technical textile machinery parts and assembly operation under “Precitex Component Manufacturing Company” in 1985, and the launch of a Spin Draw Wind Machine in 2004. It also set up a Technical Training and Research Centre in Kanpur in 2012, followed by the 2014 launch of a Valve Bag Converting Machine under the brand “Valvomatic,” and the 2019 launch of a block bottom valve bag converting machine model “Blokomatic.”
Corporate structure changed materially in 2024. Following a Scheme of Arrangement, the company was renamed to Lohia Corp Limited (certificate dated June 6, 2024). Separately, under an NCLT-approved scheme involving Lohia Trade Services Limited (LTSL), LTSL’s Technical Textile Machinery Business was demerged and transferred to Lohia Corp effective April 1, 2024 (scheme effective May 1, 2024), along with LTSL’s related investments in five subsidiaries and LTSL itself.
The company is planning an IPO consisting of an offer for sale of 42,259,970 equity shares (face value Re 1 each). Founded 2023
