In 2021, a joint venture with Thriveni Earthmovers led to the formation of Thriveni Lloyds Mining Private Limited, focusing on mining operations. Recent developments include a 30 MW waste heat recovery power plant, and a new stockyard capable of handling 10 million metric tonnes of iron ore annually. The company has diversified into domestic and export markets for iron ore pellets and pig iron, and continues to advance its production capabilities with new sponge iron plants and power facilities.
