KSR Footwear Limited, established on August 22, 2023, in Kolkata, operates as a public limited company. Initially, it was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khadim India Limited (KIL) but later became a subsidiary of Khadim Development Company Private Limited. The company underwent a significant restructuring under a Scheme of Arrangement with KIL, effectively separating the Distribution business of KIL into KSR Footwear.
The demerger was approved by the Hon'ble NCLT on March 27, 2025, with the operational date starting April 1, 2025, and effective from May 1, 2025. Post-demerger, KSR Footwear issued 1,83,78,382 equity shares of Rs. 10 face value each to the existing shareholders of KIL on a 1:1 ratio, as part of the consideration for the restructuring.
KSR Footwear is currently focused on footwear manufacturing and wholesale trading. With its recent structural changes and alignment with Khadim Development Company, the company positions itself in the footwear industry, leveraging its experience and demerged operations to cater to wholesale and retail markets.
