Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL) is a Government of India enterprise engaged in iron ore mining, beneficiation, and pellet production. Headquartered in Bangalore, with operational plants in Mangalore, the company was established in 1976 as an export-oriented unit. KIOCL's key assets include a pelletisation plant with a 3 million tonne annual capacity and a pig iron plant, developed through a joint venture, which commenced production in 2001-02.
