Kaushalya Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd., originally established as R.M.S Exim Private Limited in 1992, transitioned to its current name and public status by 2002. The company is primarily involved in infrastructure construction, real estate development, land acquisition and sales, and hotel operations. Initially a textile trading entity, it pivoted to construction in 2001, completing 31 projects over six years and currently managing 16 projects in Eastern India.
Kaushalya Infrastructure went public in 2008, raising Rs. 57 Crores through an IPO, and is listed on BSE and NSE. It formed several subsidiaries in 2008 for real estate development, notably in Rajarhat, and has a joint venture with the West Bengal Small Industries Development Corp. to develop industrial parks. This strategic expansion includes subsidiaries like Bengal KDC Housing Development Ltd. and Kaushalya Township Pvt. Ltd., which engage in land acquisition and development, underpinning its growth in the real estate sector.
