It transitioned from a sole proprietorship to a public limited company by 2016. The company specializes in designing, manufacturing, and selling a wide range of jewellery products, including gold and studded jewellery, catering to both special occasions and daily wear.
By March 2023, Kalyan Jewellers had expanded to 182 showrooms, with 149 in India and 33 in the Middle East, marking significant growth with 28 new showrooms in FY23. The company also launched its first franchise store in June 2022 and operates with one domestic and eight overseas subsidiaries. This strategic expansion reflects its strong market presence and commitment to growth in the jewellery retail sector.
