The company began with trading metal scraps sourced from imports, shipbreaking yards, and local merchants. In 2015, Kalana Ispat expanded into manufacturing, setting up a facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for producing M.S. Billets and later enhancing it with a Billet Caster machine.
Currently, Kalana Ispat specializes in manufacturing M.S. Billets and Alloy Steel Billets, with an operational capacity of 38,000 M.T. at its Ahmedabad facility. The company is planning a public issue of 49,40,800 equity shares through a fresh issue, indicating an effort to raise capital for further growth and expansion. This positions Kalana Ispat as a significant player in the metal manufacturing sector, with a focus on enhancing its production capabilities.
