About Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Ltd Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Ltd, originally Kakatiya Cements Ltd, was established in July 1979 and began operations in 1983 with a cement plant in Andhra Pradesh. Initially licensed to produce 200 tpd of ordinary Portland cement, the company has since expanded its plant capacity to 600 tpd. The company's operations have consistently surpassed 100% capacity utilization, often reaching 125%, and have been profitable since inception.
Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Ltd operates through three divisions: Cement, Sugar, and Power. It produces and markets Portland cement, sugar, and generates power, primarily serving clients in Andhra Pradesh. The company has undertaken significant expansions, including a 17 MW Bagasse-based co-generation power plant operational since April 2002. Funded by financial institutions and internal resources, KCL modernized its capacity expansion and issued equity shares to bolster its working capital. The company collaborates with Fuller KCP for core equipment supply for its cement mill.
