Kaira Can Company Limited, established in 1962, is based in Gujarat, India, and operates primarily in the manufacturing sector. Initially a private entity, it became a public company in 1964 and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company produces Open Top Sanitary Cans, Lithographed and Plain Metal Containers, and Paint Containers, with facilities located in Kanjari and Vithal Udyog Nagar. In 1992, Kaira expanded into processing, packing, and marketing Amul Milk in Mumbai.
In 2000-01, Kaira diversified into manufacturing rolled sugar cones, enhancing its product range at the Vithal Udyog Nagar unit. The company also launched a food parlour business in collaboration with the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, opening 'Utterly Delicious' in Navi Mumbai in 2002. Kaira has continued to expand its production capacity, notably increasing sugar cone output to 1500 lakh cones annually by 2014-15. A wholly-owned subsidiary, Puma Properties Limited, was established in 2007.
