About Kachchh Minerals Ltd Kachchh Minerals Limited, established in April 1981 and becoming a public entity in May 1994, specializes in manufacturing China Clay, Micronized Kaolin, and High-Grade Silica Sand. Initially, the company had an installed capacity of 10,000 tpa, which was significantly expanded in 1995-96 to 30,000 tpa for China Clay and 90,000 tpa for Silica Sand through an expansion-cum-modernisation programme. These products serve diverse industries, including ceramics, paint, paper, pharmaceuticals, glass, and foundry.
The company went public in March 1996 to finance its expansion, issuing over 1.6 million equity shares. By 1997-98, production reached 17,444 M.T. of China Clay, with growing export inquiries contributing to 15% of sales. In 1999-2000, Kachchh Minerals enhanced product quality, securing orders from multinational companies. Production activities effectively resumed on August 23, 2014, positioning the company for continued growth in both domestic and international markets.
